因為會做名片片喜帖, 設計師會放一些英文字.
又因為本人英文不是概好.
所以要請各位水水幫忙看一下
這樣的寫法有沒有問題~
(因為我跟先生, 有很多老板跟朋友, 英文程度非常好, 怕寫錯很漏氣)
因為我是10/20 就登記結婚了
11/27 是補請
The wedding reception of Jack and Brenda.
Please save the date for the wedding reception of 2010.11.27
這樣寫ok嗎?
又, 其中wedding reception 跟wedding party有什麼差別啊??
哪個比較適宜?

國外沒什麼補不補請的啦!!
請吃飯就是請吃飯 英文裡不用刻意去形容
We are happy to annouce the wedding reception will be held on 11/27, 2010 at XXXXX (地點)
It would be our honor to have you here with us!
RECEPTION和PARTY沒什麼特大的差異性
但PARTY會感覺比較輕鬆
比較常見的是寫wedding invitation 吧....
中國人吃飯用Wedding banquet 比party好像好一點?
Wedding Reception 和 Wedding Banquet = 喜宴
Wedding Party = 伴郎,伴娘,和其他跟著新郎新娘的人! (所以在國外業者會問妳的Wedding Party有多少人, 需要幾多胸花, 等等!) Party 是派會沒錯 但是跟 Wedding 用在一起時是指一個 group 而不是指真的 party 喔!
(英文很奇怪吧!)
