Hi, I'm from Hong Kong and planning to take wedding photos in Taipei in late October. As this is my first time to Taiwan, could anyone suggest me which hotel is better.

My criteria are simple:
clean,
not too old,
budget about 2000 - 2500 TWD,
not too far from Chungshan N Rd (within 5 metro stations)

I like YMCA which in 台北車站 新光三越旁. NTD 1900 and have 10% charge for double bed. clean

但不知是否 " far from Chungshan N Rd "

hi, leo,

你要到 中山北路的婚紗店, 一般都是要在民權西路站下車,

台北車站是最方便的捷運站, 離民權西路只是二站之隔!

如依你的要求, 也可試問問台北車站附近的"華華" ,
不過, 有本館和別館之分, 別館則比較新囉!


位於中山北路上的"富都" 也很方便, 不過, 價位可能稍高一點!

hi,

i'm from hong kong too, i think u dont need to worry about distance (e.g. the requirement of getting a hotel within 5 metro station). i've been to taipei for three times and i think the transportation is really nothing to worry about, taxi is cheaper comparing to hong kong and the metro is convenient too....

i've tried Hilton close to train station, Shing Do (small hotel) and Asia Pacific (close to metro station) and i'll suggest Asia Pacific for its price and quality and accessibility.

我都是想從香港去台北拍照,我已訂了機票及酒店,原本我是選天成的(如搭的士到中山北路大約廿幾元),但因為無房,所以我真情選了在中山北路的富都,呢間我上次到台北都住過(ok啦),在香港訂大約要五百幾元

I'm now considering 天成 and 富都, I know that 富都 is better but 天成 locates in the centre of Taipei. Of course, I do want to know if 富都 worths its price.

BTW, virleung and lam_sammy, have you chosen your shops? My fioncee's friends highly recommend Sophia. What're your choices? When will you go? My fioncee is afraid of the cold weather, so we are planning to go at late Oct.

Anyway, thank you very much for you guys' help!

YOu must a very good husband for your wife, I will go Taiwan on early Nov, I think the weather is not very cold, and must raining la, I will get a choice between Romantic Life and Royal wedding, Sophia, they can't communicate with e-mail law, so only got the quoation jar....any more advice.

我已book了ticket & hotel在10/10出發,我應該會在蘿亞拍照.

leolam00,其實我雖然沒住過天成,但如果你這兩間決擇的話我都會選天成,因為較近市中心,但其實又天成住中山北路搭的士都係只需廿幾元吧.(所以你只需看看兩間那一間有房便可).
