To Evan: My case is even worse!
Hi Evan:
I can feel how you feel! My case is even worse than yours! I spent $95,000 NT dollars and my package is only 30 pictures! Here is how it happened: On 06/05 we took our wedding photos in San Francisco photo company owned by Taiwanese! Before we took this photo, we did a lot of homeworks just as you did! Although I have taken wedding photos on 03/27(one day before your date) in Taiwan, and the result is so good that I picked 114 photos, I still have a great expectation for our wedding photos in US because the scenery and buildings here are more beautiful! So we request we wanted to take outdoor pictures only! Last week(07/08) the proofs(pictures) were ready and we went to pick picutres! Out of 200 picutres, I can hardly pick 10 picutres! The picture inside San Franciso City Hall is so dark and I was so disappointed! Our photographer is proud that he doesn't need any lighting assistant as in Taiwan because he said he can handle it all! While, the outcome is so bad! Some pictures in Fishman Wharf are even worse! We cannot see any background! The photographer replied that he set focus on people,so the backgraound is blurred! If we like "over-blurred background" pictures, why do we have to take outdoor pictures only? We cannot afford to re-take the pictures because the big album will take 2 months to complete! Think about my wedding photos in Taiwan, I can hardly delete one! The ones I deleted in Taiwan are even better than the best one I picked in US! I can only say, it does not worth it! The price here is such a rip-off and no wonder so many people went back to Taiwan taking wedding photos! Another price that will drive me crazy: I will be charged $680 US dollars if I want to hire a bride secretary on my wedding date and this price is no negotiatable! You will feel better if compared to my case!!!
