Tiffany Ashley of Patrick Springs and Jonathan Turner of Bassett were married on April 11 at Valley Drive Baptist Church in Fieldale. Freddie Bonds performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ira and Gayle Ashley of Patrick Springs. She is the granddaughter of Evelyn Bowles of Bassett and the late Curtis Bowles and Hubert Ashley and Shirley Ashley of Bassett.
The bridegroom is the son of Doug and Lora Turner of Bassett. He is the grandson of Russell Rea of Ridgeway and Mary Rea of Rocky Mount.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless beaded lace chiffon A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline, a satin split front and a lace-up back. She wore a chapel-length train and a sequined and beaded veil her mother made. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses and purple daisies.
Matron of honor was Brittany Branch of Bassett, sister of the bride. She wore a yellow chiffon gown and carried a bouquet of yellow roses and purple daisies.

Bridesmaids were Brittany Carter of Fieldale; Ariel Bowles of Bassett, aunt of the bride; Tabatha Truman of Ferrum; and sister of the bridegroom Samantha Turner of Winston-Salem, N.C. Each wore a yellow chiffon gown of a different style, and each carried a bouquet of yellow roses and purple daisies.
Flower girls were Holly Branch, niece of the bride and daughter of Cory and Brittany Branch of Bassett; Alyssa Bowles, cousin of the bride and daughter of Dwayne Bowles and Vanessa Nolen of Bassett; and Sophia Canty, daughter of Tabatha Truman.
Brother-in-law of the bride Cory Branch of Bassett was the best man.
Groomsmen were Robbie Wade of Martinsville and Jacob Bowles of Bassett, both cousins of the bride.
Ring bearer was Kaleb Wade, cousin of the bride and son of Kim Wade of Bassett.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
The couple took a honeymoon cruise to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.
They live in Bassett.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Bassett High School and a 2014 graduate of Jefferson College of Health Sciences with a degree as Occupational Therapy Assistant. She is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with Amedisys Home Health.
The bridegroom is a 2009 graduate of Bassett High School and took general studies classes at Patrick Henry Community College.
Prior to the wedding, the couple were honored with a wedding shower on Feb. 22 at the Patrick Henry Volunteer Fire Department, hosted by Gayle Ashley and Brittany Branch, and a surprise bridal shower on April 3 at the bride’s home, hosted by Brittany Branch and Brittany Carter.
