Wedding/Bridal Biscuits In-House Sampling Experience

 

I had the pleasure of visiting Boulangerie Yorimichi the other day. 

I want to share this wonderful experience with friends all around the world who are planning to get married and settle in Taiwan. I've noticed that most of the online reviews are in Chinese, so I hope my post can be helpful to a wider audience.

 

Selecting a wedding biscuits brand is just like finding  a life partner: we seek that perfect match who shares our values. Here's why we find genuine connection with Yorimichi:

 

1. The Atmosphere: Yorimichi is situated in a tranquil alley. As we entered, we were warmly greeted by Han, our consultant. She initiated our biscuit sampling journey with a friendly chat. We shared the story of how we met while enjoying the biscuits and the Imperial Wedding tea. It felt more like talking to a friend than a salesperson, and we truly appreciated the rapport she built with us.

 

2. The Cookies: Yorimichi's cookies are crafted with top-quality ingredients. When we picked one up and smelled, we could sensed a delightful whiff of flour. There was no overpowering artificial aroma. As we took a bite, the cookies revealed a medium level of sweetness. We really enjoyed the original flavors of each ingredient, from the flour and butter to the eggs and spices or chocolate.

 

3. Thoughtful Packaging: While many brands typically wrap each biscuit individually, Yorimichi's cookies are thoughtfully placed inside an iron box. What's more, each box is delicately wrapped with a Furoshiki, a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth. No disposable paper bags are involved. Friends and relatives can simply grab the knot and go. The Furoshiki becomes a cherished keepsake for our loved ones even after they finish the cookies.
